Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2013 Season are now set.

Time: Saturday, Jan. 26 (see below for schedule)

Location: The HB Fuller Clubhouse, which is the large gray building west of the Snack Shack.

Who should attend

All players except TBall. Even if your player is expected to be “protected” by a particular coach he/she should attend tryouts. Players who are not protected and who do not try out will be randomly placed on a team after teams participate in the draft.

Make-up tryouts

Saturday, Feb. 2, 11 am – same location

Where players enter

Players can enter at the far door into the meeting room, where we will have a check-in station and waiting area for them. Parents will be asked to stay outside.

Where parents go

To avoid congestion, once you drop off you player at the far door, please go to the door to the main cages, where you can watch. Once your player tries out, he/she will exit through that door.

What to bring

Players should wear athletic shoes (no cleats) as well as sweats or baseball pants and a warm shirt, so they don’t have to try out in a coat (it can be a little chilly in the cages). They should also bring their bat, glove or batting helmet with them. If they don’t have one of these items, we do have ones to share.

Training

Feel free to bring your child to our volunteer training sessions. We still have a few days of training available for each age group. See our training clinic schedule for details.

Play up/Play down

If your child intends to “play up” a division then please attend the tryouts for both their age-appropriate division and the division in which they want to play.

Schedule

Tryout times are based on the division in which your child intends to play and then by last name. If your child intends to “play up” a division then please attend the tryouts for that division. Here is the schedule:
